Friends of the Museum
The Biggar and District Community Foundation have established a Friends of the Museum fund. The idea of the fund is to create a permanent savings account for the Museum that when invested would generate a grant to the Museum each year. This fund would ensure the continued existence of the Museum in the years to come.
Participants can contribute to the fund in three ways:
1. $25.00 per month for five years
2. A one-time donation
3. Named as a beneficiary of your estate
All monies will go directly to the Museum fund. They will be held in perpetuity in safe, secure investments. There is no administration fee.A tax reciept will be issued once a year in December. These will be mailed to you the following January. If you have any further questions please contact Shirley Bennett at 306-948-2852.
People have been supporting the museum through many ways and many years. Some of these ways include volunteering and donations. Through general, in-kind, memorial, and commemorative donations, and the countless efforts of volunteers, the Biggar Museum & Gallery continues to operate year round.
